Special Announcement

It is with great pleasure that Lam Rim announces a Public Talk with Tenzin Ösel Hita Torres, the recognised reincarnation of the hugely influential and innovative teacher, Lama Thubten Yeshe. We are thrilled to be able to host Ösel here. We warmly invite everyone to take part in this rare opportunity to meet a modern day Tulku who is innovating in the expression of Tibetan Buddhism in the West.

Overview

Many of us feel disconnected from our own lives, unsure of what’s wrong or how to change it. We go from moment to moment, improvising each day, finding ourselves in situations where we aren’t truly happy. Modern life often feels like an endless cycle of obligation and consumption, leaving us anxious and unfulfilled. But deep inside, we long for more connection—waking up in nature, surrounded by loved ones, sharing meals made with care, working with our hands, and living in harmony with ourselves and others.

Reconnecting with the heart means listening to our inner voice again, feeling centred, more self assured and with less self doubt. It means conscious living, aligned with our true values. Gradually, as we reconnect with our heart, we find ourselves being more spontaneous, more free with our expression and more kind with others.

When it comes to Buddhist practice, our meditation becomes more effortless, our good actions more natural and our enthusiasm for the spiritual path grows. Ultimately, reconnecting with the heart means connecting with our inner guru.

Open to people of all paths and none, of all backgrounds and of all ages, join us for this immersive Public Talk with Ösel Hita as we explore this important topic in the context of a spiritual path and living a meaningful and happy life.
