Volunteering at Lam Rim is a great way to meet new people, learn about Buddhism, be part of a community and develop skills. We have a full range of volunteer opportunities across:

A volunteer opportunity can be one of or a mixture of any of these areas and we are always open to ideas, backgrounds and skill sets.

Gardner & Grounds Role Needed!

Lam Rim Centre is looking for Gardner & Grounds volunteers. There are two main opportunities

  1. Residential Grounds Manager Volunteer

    This 4-5 day per week role and includes accommodation onsite. The role would be responsible for maintaining the grounds and cultivating food, creating a long term welcoming and harmonious space for retreat.

  2. Occasional Grounds Volunteer(s)

    This can be from 2-3 hours per week, to an occasional day or week at a time. The role would typically take care of specific tasks like mowing, trimming, raking leaves to harvesting etc.
